Anna Kverndal is our Head Coach and runs the coaching sessions alongside Luke.

About Anna

I am an LTA Level 4-accredited player, and I enjoy competing at all levels, playing both singles and doubles. I love the adrenaline of playing a tennis match, thinking about what tactics I want to utilise and what shots I need to make. 

In 2018, I graduated from Leeds Beckett University with a degree in sports coaching. At university, I was the captain of the Women’s second team, competing in national and Northern Premier League tournaments.

I have been a head coach for HotshotZ for five years, creating and running successful programmes which include weekly group lessons for Juniors from 3 to 17 years old, and adult lessons suitable for beginners up to advanced players. 

I lead a successful coaching team, and we're passionate about creating tennis programmes that provide advancement and enjoyment for everyone.

About Luke

Luke represented Great Britain 3 times as a Junior and finished as Runner-Up in the European team championships in Italy. Luke was in the top 5 in the country at under-12s and the Top 10 in the country at under-18s. He went to university in South Carolina, USA, on a tennis scholarship and had a winning singles record. 

Luke was the Assistant Coach for both the men’s and women’s tennis teams at the university for 1 year. 

Luke is a Visually Impaired qualified tennis coach.

About Rebecca

Rebecca has been working for Hotshotz for a few years now and is a Level 2 coach. She has lots of experience with both Junior and Adults and is available on Fridays for private coaching.
